February 6, 2002 Hello to everyone. I hope all is well. It's a brand new year, the sun is out, and it's a good day today. I haven't had a chance to write to you guys lately as I've been so busy! In case you are interested, my life extends far beyond the comic book scene. Although I love comic book art, my first passion in life is music! yeah! Late last year, I joined a band. Our band name is "Basilea", but we are currently looking and trying to brain storm for a new, fresher name...so, if you have any great ideas, please feel free to write to me. :) I am currently the lead vocalist in the band, and I have recently started playing guitar and I really love it. (Makes me feel like somewhat of a rock star - hehe :) We play all kinds of music...from Rhthym and Blues, to Alternative Rock. It's really cool. We're set to play in our first concert sometime this year out in San Diego (NTC, I believe :) Ever heard of the place? It's out by Point Loma...they just renovated it. I have to say, I am glad it's a new year. 2001 was a year full of many challenges. Some challenges were beyond what I thought I could handle. So many horrible things happened last year (especially the 911 tragedy)...and other unmentionable things in my own life...I actually lost most of my hair because of stress!! I looked a lot like a cancer patient! Thankfully, my hair has grown back and now I've got that Pantene look again. (Well, not quite - hehe). I really praise God for all of the things He has allowed me to experience...and I am sure you do as well. I have learned so much...and I have had many defining moments in the past year which has literally changed me forever..and I'm sure that goes the same for all of you as well. Having had my son last year is the greatest blessing in the world. He makes me want to be a better person. Everything I do revolves around him...his smile, laugh, and his love for me keeps me going on and on and on. Well, God Bless. I hope you have a great day today.
